Rachel has worked in healthcare since the 1990s in various roles including carer, nurse, managerial positions, specialist advisor roles, training lead, specialist forensic and women's services, service / business development and senior governance positions. She has extensive experience working with vulnerable children and adults with a range of diagnoses and communication difficulties.

Rachel’s specialist area is with working with clients over the age of 13 with : 

  • Mental health problems from mild to very complex (including multiple diagnoses)

  • Substance misuse issues

  • Learning disabilities

  • Brain Injuries

  • ADHD 

  • Conduct disorders

  • Global developmental delay

  • Selective mutism

  • Asperger’s Syndrome

  • Autistic spectrum disorders (including Autism)

Rachel is an Approved Service Provider under the HMCTS Approved Intermediary Service (HAIS) working with defendants in criminal cases, Family Proceedings and Employment Tribunals.  

​

She is a Ministry of Justice Registered Intermediary in accordance with s29 of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999. - working with prosecution witnesses in criminal proceedings.
